A direct object is the person or thing that receives the action of the verb. e.g. I hit the ball. I visited my grandma. When the direct object is person or group of people, use the word “a” before the object. Visité a mi abuela. Vimos a Juan y Gloria. You can also use the personal “a” with pets. Busco a mi perro, Capitán. Use the personal “a” in questions as well. ¿A quíén visitaron uds.? Summary Comments are closed.
